2011 Rose

Description

- Traditional varieties of Provence (Grenache, Cinsault and Carignan)
- Bottled early delivering an authentic Rosé
- A perfect summer wine

In the Barossa Valley, as in other famous wine regions of the world, it is customary to harvest the most tender berries and lightly ferment them, delivering a youthful and delicate Rosé. Likewise it is traditional to bottle this wine early and celebrate the completion of the new vintage.
Hewitson brings to life the exquisite charm of the finest and gentlest grapes from our vineyards in the Barossa Valley.

Tasting Notes

Our 2011 Rosé showcases red berry perfume infused with the fragrant herbs of Provence... the authentic Rosé.
The flavours of red berries, especially cranberries, come through on the palate. The fruit sweetness is perfectly balanced with natural acidity and a very fine wafer of tannin, leaving a mouth-watering finish.
